Don’t lie. You sang the title.
I’m sure when you read that you instantly thinking about the movie Frozen and Elsa shooting icicles out of her hands. Sorry to burst your bubble but, this is a little different.
I was sitting in church this morning as they sang the song, You Never Let go by Matt Redman. Then something dawned upon me. I need to let go. Through this song talking about how God never lets go. I need to let go. If you read my blog post from yesterday you saw that I have completed the book, Love Does By Bob Goff. Through the different stories told I learned that I need to throw away the things that don’t matter and start going for the things that do. I need to be afraid to succeed at the things that don’t matter and strive to succeed at the things that do matter.
Through the past couple of weeks I’ve held on to those things that do not matter and I have tried to succeed on those things don’t matter. In Proverbs 3:5-6 it says: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
As I go on through this week I plan to take a deep breath. Let go, and love.
