So, It’s been a little over two months so, I’d really just like to do a reflection. A couple of things have come about:
I’ve learned that deleting social media apps from your phone from time to time can actually be a good thing, and trying to hang out with new people can turn out way better than expected.
Many times we get stuck in a rut (I know I did) of checking our phone to the point where it is more of a habit instead of actually needing to. This for me seemed to get in the way a lot and I did not benefit from it.
I also have started to hang out with some other people by going to a new bible study for me! It is really fun and interesting because I wouldn’t have thought about that before!
Sometimes, changing plans at the last-minute or staying up a bit later to do homework because you hung out with good people and had a good time earlier isn’t the worst thing in the world. I’ve realized that the little things you do now that could make someone’s day are going to mean a lot more in 5-10 years than missing out on an hour of sleep.
Those have been my main changes and looking back on the past few months. Sometimes the smallest gestures make the biggest impact and the best stories later.
